Monica Reisner serves Rosen Lewis, PLLC clients on matters relating to intellectual property rights, commercial business transactions, e-commerce, corporate governance and employment law. Her nearly 20 years of experience in media and the entertainment industry is a unique blend of in-house experience and private practice. Ms. Reisner provides counsel to television stations, production companies, artists, developers, designers, producers, writers, directors and distributors, and has the knowledge, skill and resources to address the many dynamic issues facing the entertainment community.

Most recently, Ms. Reisner worked five years as General Counsel for Seattle’s local PBS television station. She also served as the station’s Director of Human Resources. Previously, Ms. Reisner spent seven years with AEI Music (now DMX Music). Her professional experience includes counseling clients on legal matters central to their businesses. This includes licensing intellectual property rights; facilitating film, television, and music production & distribution deals; reviewing website content; managing real estate transactions; preparing and negotiating commercial agreements for goods and services; advising on all employment law matters and overseeing all Board of Director governance and policy issues.

Prior to law school, Ms. Reisner worked as a producer and editor for television and later began working in marketing and affiliate distribution for a multi-media music company. While an undergraduate at the University of Washington, she traveled and studied abroad and completed her coursework in Broadcast Journalism. She is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law and is a member of the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations. She serves as “Of Counsel” to the firm.
