Brian E. Lewis focuses his practice on the business needs of media and technology clients in all phases of their evolution. He brings a wealth of experience to the firm on a broad range of legal areas, having served as Vice President of Business Development & General Counsel for Wizards of the Coast, Inc. where he helped that company grow for nine years. His particular expertise is strongest in corporate matters and intellectual property issues.
A long standing member of the ABA Cyberspace committee, Mr. Lewis has been on the cutting edge of legal developments related to the Internet for over a decade. Mr. Lewis has considerable experience in entertainment property transactions having negotiated successfully for a vast array of sports and entertainment properties.
He is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law, where he was on Law Review and returns as a frequent guest lecturer. He received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University prior to working for several years with Boeing where he co-chaired the 777 fuselage design team.
Mr. Lewis is on the Executive Committee of the WSBA Corporate Law Department Section; the ABA Cyberspace committee, and works with several non-profits including the Detlef Schrempf Foundation, the Olympic and Extreme Sports Foundation, and the Pazzo Velo Foundation. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
